Reigning from the Okanagan in B.C.
Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer,
Riesling and Pinot Blanc as the base, with distilled grape spirit. The
wine was macerated with Lavender, Chamomile, Hibiscus, Yarrow,
and Wormwood. The distillate was macerated with Kola Nut,
Rhubarb Root, Sweet Cicely, Star Anise, Yarrow, Coriander, Bitter
Orange Peel, and Cinchona Bark, and the two were blended before
sweetening. The same vermouth as his 2019 Rosso, but this one
spent 4-5 months over the winter in barrel. The aging has tamed
the wildness and botanical punch and given it a more cohesive
personality. More unified and able to stand up to heavier spirits
when mixed (not that it needs it). This verm is for contemplaters
that like to drink n think.
